Mr. Haruna Jalo-Waziri is an experienced Financial Markets Expert, his award-winning career spanned over twenty-five years in Capital Markets. He has vast experience in Deal Origination, Investment Management, Securities Trading and Regulation.
He started his career at the Nigeria Stock Exchange and subsequently moved to the Securities and Exchange Commission, the apex regulatory organization of the Capital Markets in Nigeria. He worked with Afrinvest West Africa (formerly SECTRUST) and Kakawa Discount House Ltd where he started the Asset Management Department, which he later transformed to a full fledge company “Kakawa Asset Management Limited” (now FBN Merchant Bank). He later joined the services of First Alliance Pension & Benefits Limited (Now ARM Pensions Limited) in partnership with Mcube South Africa.
In 2007, he was appointed MD/CEO of UBA Stockbrokers Limited, a subsidiary of United Bank for Africa (UBA Plc) which he successfully made one of the top 5 securities trading companies in Nigeria. He thereafter became the MD/CEO of UBA Asset Management Ltd.
Haruna Jalo-Waziri was appointed the Executive Director, Capital Markets in 2012 with a primary responsibility for the overall capital market developments. He implemented key initiatives such as; Capital markets partnership agreement with the London Stock Exchange Group, Developed the Sovereign Green Bond, Introduction of Federal Government Retail Savings Bond, Launched the NSE Premium Board, MSCI Index Partnership- GICS Adoption and the 1st dual listing on the NSE and LSE Main Board amongst others.
He has served on several Boards including FSDH Merchant Bank, Nigeria German Chemical Plc, Oakwood Protea Hotel, Central Securities Clearing System Plc and Coral Properties Limited. He is currently on the Board of Special Olympics Nigeria. He is also the current Vice President of the AIFA Reading Society, an NGO that focuses on promotion of a reading culture and the attainment of a sustainable educational development across Africa.
Haruna Jalo-Waziri is a graduate of Economics from the University of Maiduguri and holds an MBA from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi. He has throughout the course of his career attended various courses and seminars on Capital Markets Operations, Management and Leadership, both locally and internationally. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School and the Venture Capital Institute of America. He is also a life member of the Institute of Directors.
Joseph F. Mekiliuwa

Mr. Joe Mekiliuwa holds a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Benin City; Masters Degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the University of Lagos; Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria; Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy M.(ILD) from the University of Lagos, Lagos; Doctor of Philosophy/Ph.D in Management from Aldersgate University College, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, etc; Joe is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School, Lagos, and Alumnus of London Business School, UK, etc.
He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS), Associate Member, Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR), Professional member at Companion level from UK International Professional Institutes; Institute of Management Specialist (Comp. IMS, UK); Professional Business and Technical Management (C.PBTM, UK); The Academy of Executives and Administrators (C.AEA, UK); The Academy of Multi-Skills (Comp. AMS, UK); Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants; and Full Member, Chartered Nigeria Institute of Management. He has attended several professional courses/trainings in various fields in IT, CSD Infrastructures, Database Management System, Capital Market dynamics amongst others in Europe, North and South America, Asia, etc.
He has also led several committees on Capital Market initiatives and has played strategic roles in Nigeria and West African Capital Market developments and African capital market linkage. He was actively involved in National Payment System vision 2020 and led the Central Bank Committee of Securities settlement workgroup that produced Securities settlement guideline for Nigeria. He has delivered several papers locally and internationally.
Mr. Mekiliuwa is one of the pioneer staff members involved in the implementation of the CSD System of the Central Securities Clearing System Plc, Nigeria. He has been involved in a lot of Capital Market development initiatives and implementations. He is currently the General Manager (IT & Operations).
Joe is happily married to Dr.(Mrs) Jumoke Mekiliuwa and they have two children.
General Manager, Business Development
Mr. Taiwo Otiti is the General Manager, Business Development at the Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the prestigious Carleton University, Canada and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Loughborough University of Technology, England.
With over 25 years working experience, Mr. Otiti brings to CSCS Plc his vast knowledge in IT frameworks and solutions, Banking Operations, Technology, Product Development and Human Capital Management. A consummate and visionary leader, he has contributed significantly to the Nigerian banking industry by spearheading several innovative projects and transformation initiatives such as pioneering the first online Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) and the first mobile banking platform (Glo Mobile) with First Bank of Nigeria Limited.
As the Country General Manager, IBM West Africa, Mr. Otiti successfully increased IBM’s revenue in the West African sub-region by over 300% and achieved Enterprise Server market share of 80% in the Financial Sector. He also established a new management system for Nigeria which was rolled out to other IBM offices across Africa.
Prior to joining IBM West Africa, Mr. Otiti served as the Group Chief Information Officer of Afribank where he designed and implemented a technology roadmap for the bank based on a three-year IT strategic plan. He implemented Temenos T24, a centralised banking application, led the redesigning/reengineering of all business process in the bank (Head Office and Branches); and implemented the automation of Trade, Treasury and Domestic operations units.
Mr. Otiti also built and nurtured payment systems in Nigeria with Interswitch, ValuCard and Visa. He is a key member of various national payment systems’ Board of Directors and committees such as CBN Payment and Systems Strategy Committee that crafted the Payment Systems Strategy for Nigeria Vision 2012:2020.
He joined CSCS Plc from IBM West Africa on 3 May 2016. He is happily married with two daughters.
DGM/Chief Financial Officer
Mr.Vincent Ukoh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and a Post Graduate Diploma in Manpower Planning and Economics from University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and an Associate of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACIS). He is also an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
He started his career as an audit trainee with Coopers and Lybrand (Chartered Accountants) in 1989 and rose to become an Audit Senior by December 1991. He went on to work in the Treasury Operations (TROPS) unit of Citizens Bank between 1992 and 1995. Thereafter, he moved to Dapage Ventures (a real estate development company) where he was the General Manager, Finance and Administration.
Proficient in audit and general accounting functions, treasury management, investment analysis and general management, he has also consulted for Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Federal Ministry of Finance, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (on Murtala Mohammed Airport 2) and Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Services.
While in Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterHouse Coopers), he handled the statutory audits of companies such UACN Plc, Nigerite Ltd, Guinness Nigeria Plc, CAP Plc, New Nigeria Bank Plc, Nigeria Airways (Debt Reconciliation), ACB Plc (Debt Reconciliation) among many others.
Vincent has attended many courses and seminars locally and internationally in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Taxation, Investment Analysis, Capital Market Operations, Management and Leadership. He is an alumnus of Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, USA, Lagos Business School, Institute of Management Development (IMD) Lausanne, Switzerland among others.
Vincent, who is married and blessed with lovely children, joined CSCS Plc in August 2011 from Securities Trading and Investment Ltd (Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange) where he was the Managing Director between 2006 and 2011.
Chief Risk Officer
Mr. Ayokunle Adaralegbe is the Chief Risk Officer at Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc where he established Enterprise Risk Management Department and implemented its framework to satisfy the risk management and control needs of CSCS. He currently oversees the organization's Enterprise Risk Management
Prior to joining CSCS, Ayokunle was an Enterprise Risk Manager at Depository Clearing and Trust Company (DTCC), New York and London, where he gained extensive skills and experience in Central Counterparty Clearing service covering both cash equities, fixed income and derivative products across DTCC subsidiaries - NSCC, FICC, MBSD and NYPC.
Previously, Ayokunle was a Senior Associate at the State Street Bank and Trust Co where he was responsible for Institutional Client Investment Risk Management. He also has a wealth of experience in banking and financial services and Asset Management.
He started his career at FSB International Bank (now Fidelity Bank Plc) and later progressed to Eco Bank Nigeria Plc.
Ayokunle holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Strathclyde Business School, UK, a Master's Degree in Banking and Financial Market from Loughborough University UK, a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Accounting (Second Class Upper Division) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, and he is an alumnus of Lagos Business School.
